Hope some little guy will get a kick out of this robot. The diamond metallic paper is from one of the big craft stores (Michael’s?)
Mojo Monday Sketch 310 inspired me to make this “love” card. The glitter – gasp – is legit, I think, because it’s a sealed glitter paper. I rubbed and rubbed and none of it came off on my clothes. We’ll see what Sandy thinks!
I always try to include something in my Operation Write Home package for a hero to send home to his child. I thought this one might work for a boy or girl. The snail is a digital stamp – I’m just learning how to use them, and for images I’m going to color, I can see how helpful they can be, since you can re-size them to suit your project. I’m still technologically challenged for links (I can’t even seem to get an OWH “badge” for this blog) but I’m hoping to learn.
We were challenged to create something using buttons for Card Care Connection, to cheer someone who’s going through chemotherapy. I thought these bright colors might be good.

So excited to be starting the Creative Ladder class taught by Sandy Allnock, “Chiaroscuro.” I’m hoping to learn more about how to create 3-D images by using light and shade. It’ll be fun to look for how light plays off objects in daily life, and to try and recreate some of those effects on paper. Hoping my cards will become mini works of art as I practice and improve.
